We currently ship to U.S.A. only.
A shipping charge will be added to your total during the checkout process and included on the order confirmation to be sent via e-mail once the purchase is completed.
Order processing times may increase during peak holiday and promotional periods. If your desired product is not in stock at the time of processing, we will contact you by phone or e-mail to make alternate delivery arrangements. All orders over $500 will be shipped “signature required.” This means that USPS will require a person to provide a signature to make the delivery.
We offer flat-rate shipping: $15 USD via USPS.
Orders of available stock placed by 12 noon CST will be shipped to arrive in four to five business days.
It is our goal that all orders placed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be processed by the following business day.
Out of stock items: Estimated delivery time is 10-15 days.
Please note that:
- We currently ship to U.S.A. only. International Orders are unavailable through this site.
- Orders with a Post Office Box address/number and/or Lot numbers will not be processed.
- All orders with US military addresses will be shipped by USPS and may have longer delivery time.
- Once your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail with your tracking number, so you can follow your parcel at www.usps.com. Please be aware that it may take 24 hours before your delivery information is registered in USPS’ system.
- Deviations in delivery time may occur

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase through our website, we are happy to refund your purchase price if the return complies with our policy.
We accept returns for products purchased from the Sylvsmidja.com website. The products purchased from Sylvsmidja must be returned in new or gently used condition and within 60 days from date of purchase. Ideally, the product(s) would be in its original packaging.
If you are returning a gift order and do not want the refund to be issued to the original form of payment, please contact us. Please note: Items noted as final sale or not-returnable are not eligible for exchange or return. Shipping and delivery fees are not refundable. Sylvsmidja monitors return activity and reserves the right to deny returns that, in its sole discretion, do not meet the return policy.
For items returned within our returns policy, the purchase price will be refunded to the original form of payment. Returns will be processed within 3 business days of receipt at our warehouse, and you will receive a credit confirmation with your refund amount once your return has been fully processed. The time to post a credit to your account can vary and is determined by the issuing bank. Please contact the issuing bank for details. Please note: gift cards, promotional items, final sale items products purchased may not be eligible for return online.

Exchange Instructions
If you would like to exchange a product(s), simply return the eligible unwanted product(s). A refund will be processed within 3 business days of receipt. You may then place a new order for the product(s) you wish to purchase at any time.

- The product has been manufactured in Voss in the Kingdom of Norway.
- Sylvsmidja is the sole and exclusive owner of all Intellectual Property Rights of the product.
- The product or parts of the product that are produced in silver are stamped with the fineness of the silver. The fineness of the silver is 830/1000 or 925/1000.
- 4. Parts of the silver product may have a golden finish. The parts that are golden are gold plated silver.
- The product or parts of the product that are produced in gold are stamped with the fineness of the gold. The fineness of the gold is 585/1000 (14K).
- The back of the product is marked with Sylvsmidja’s hallmark, an ancient drinking horn, shaped like the letter J, and 585 or 925 to identify Sylvsmidja as manufacturer and the fineness of the precious metal, respectively.
- Silver will oxidize over time. In order for the silver to stay nice, you should store it dry and in an airtight bag. When the silver is oxidized, you can polish it gently with silver polish.
- SYLVSMIDJA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, ALL WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE AND OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES ON SYLVSMIDJA´S PART.
- The product is intended for use as a decorative jewelry. Use reasonable care and caution when fastening and removing the product.
- The product number of the product is printed on a sticker on the box in which the product is stored
In order to process your order with our company we collect your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through this website, any of our mobile applications, or information we collect offline in the United States (Sites). Sylvsmidja LLC reserves the right to modify or update our Privacy Policy by posting changes or updates to the Web Site(s) or emailing you notice of the changes. Amendments to this Privacy Policy will be posted on our Web Site(s) and will be effective immediately when posted. The Private Policy will be updated periodically and you can verify the update by the last modified date on our Web Site(s). Your continued use of the Web Site(s) following the posting of any amendment, modification or change shall constitute your acceptance of the updated policy.

Arbitration
ANY AND ALL DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND US WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION. YOU HEREBY AGREE TO GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO GO TO COURT to assert or defend your rights under this Privacy Policy, except for matters that may be taken to small claims court. Your rights will be determined by a neutral arbitrator. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, including with respect to the interpretation of any provision of this Privacy Policy or other agreements between you and us, or concerning the performance or obligations of you and us, shall be resolved by mandatory and binding arbitration in the state of Minnesota:

- Costs and Fees. You will be subject to a filing fee. Each party shall bear its own costs and expenses and an equal share of the arbitrators’ and administrative fees of arbitration, and we will remain responsible for its share of costs, expenses and fees plus any costs, expenses and fees.
- Litigation. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to these Terms.
- CHILDREN
We do not knowingly permit persons under 13 years of age to use our Web Site(s), and we do not knowingly collect, use or disclose Personal Information from anyone under 13 years of age. If we determine upon collection of personal information that a user is under this age, we will not use or maintain personal information without the parent/guardian's consent. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will make reasonable efforts to delete such information from our records.
